I am delighted to share two workshops with you on therapy for complex trauma across the lifespan.

Robyn is one of the world's leaders in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for trauma with decades of experience working with clients, training, writing books on trauma, and she even helped develop ACT with the founders (Steve, Kirk and Kirk).

Robyn’s work is not technique; it's therapy with heart and process. 

Few know how to deliver ACT therapy as well as Robyn. 

Workshop 1: Louise Hayes

In my workshop, you'll learn how to deliver ACT that is grounded in developmental awareness and guided by adaptation and growth. Often therapy can overlook how every aspect of a child is changed by trauma, and how this impacts lifelong cognitions, emotions, actions, self-concepts and of course relationships with others and the world.

You’ll learn:

✔ Understand complex trauma from an adaptive evolutionary perspective
✔ Learn how childhood and learning history influences how we see the self, others and the world
✔ See how DNA-V/ACT can be used to create change and new ways to respond to self, others, and the world
✔ Consider how to integrate ACT with EMDR and parts work, so that you can work with the whole person in context.

Workshop 2: Robyn Walser

Shift from applying techniques to being in process. This workshop focuses on therapeutic presence, relational depth, and working moment-to-moment with psychological flexibility.

You’ll learn:

✔ ACT as a psychotherapy, not a toolkit, with exposure embedded as values-based learning and trauma processing
✔ Integration of trauma treatment modalities (EMDR, WET) with ACT’s theoretical foundation
✔ Using the therapeutic relationship as an active context for healing and change
✔ Clinical decision-making guided by process, function, and therapist presence
