The Hidden Himalaya: Join us for an amazing reflective practice opportunity in November 2026
Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to invite you to join us in November in the Himalaya, on a trip to Langtang Valley. 🥾
Langtang is my favourite place to go. It beats the Everest area by a mile. Stunning mountains, dense jungle, beautiful, friendly Tibetan people, and a valley that shows you how to deeply experience the relational qualities of humanity and bring meditation into your work and life.
This is an opportunity for professional reflective practice that nurtures your well-being, and it helps impoverished kids, too. Our Mindful Adventures trips are run as not-for-profit, with profits donated to our charity that supports kids in Nepal.
What people say about our recent Langtang trip, Mindful Adventures:
The trip to the Langtang Valley was such a gift. Prior to the trip I had told Louise I was going for calm and awe, and she had said something like, "Yes. We absolutely do calm and awe.”
Add the richness of the culture, the focus of the mindfulness practice, the care and skill of Mingma and the team, and the beautiful challenge of walking through this breathtaking scenery, and I found myself really joyfully humbled and expanded by the experience. It was so worthwhile. Tim - TeacherNepal has been the most rewarding and soul-nourishing trip I’ve ever experienced. Trekking through the breathtaking Himalayan mountains—where every step offered a new view more inspiring than the last—was both humbling and deeply moving. The stillness of the high peaks and the serenity of the trails created the perfect setting for reflection and connection.
Louise brought such a gentle wisdom to our days, sharing her deep knowledge of mindfulness and Buddhist practices in a way that felt warm, inclusive, and grounding. Her presence alone was a guiding light. Mingma, with his deep roots in Nepali culture and his open heart, brought a true sense of home and belonging to every moment. The entire team was so welcoming and full of kindness, making us feel like family from the very beginning. This journey has not only opened my eyes, it has opened my heart. It’s awakened a deeper sense of compassion and clarity that I know will stay with me and continue to shape my life and career for years to come. Izzy - Nurse
