"I recommend this trip to all of my friends and any other health professional. I did the trip this May with my 21-year-old daughter (also a nurse), and it was one of the most transformative life experiences I have had. It not only deepened my relationship and bond with my daughter, it provided a constant source of wonder - how beautiful is this place, how kind and generous are these people, how amazing is the food, how bloody high are these mountains, and how awesome am I - I MADE IT!!!! I really cannot imagine doing this trip with anyone but Louise, Mingma and their gracious (and graceful and strong) support crew. I felt safe, cared for, and seen - all my needs were noticed and met. Louise provided us with a solid and proven framework for reflecting each day that supported us to quietly deepen our own inner journey and development. I am still enjoying the benefits even 4 weeks after coming home. I planned to go again as soon as I can." - Elise, CEO and Clinical Manager

Nepal has been the most rewarding and soul-nourishing trip I’ve ever experienced. Trekking through the breathtaking Himalayan mountains—where every step offered a new view more inspiring than the last—was both humbling and deeply moving. The stillness of the high peaks and the serenity of the trails created the perfect setting for reflection and connection.

Louise brought such a gentle wisdom to our days, sharing her deep knowledge of mindfulness and Buddhist practices in a way that felt warm, inclusive, and grounding. Her presence alone was a guiding light. Mingma, with his deep roots in Nepali culture and his open heart, brought a true sense of home and belonging to every moment.

The entire team was so welcoming and full of kindness, making us feel like family from the very beginning. This journey has not only opened my eyes, it has opened my heart. It’s awakened a deeper sense of compassion and clarity that I know will stay with me and continue to shape my life and career for years to come.
